Tile Mate trackers are a great invention, don’t get me wrong. I’ve used mine constantly, especially as I’m prone to losing my keys/wallet. However, the fact that there is no obvious way to replace the batteries (in the older versions) is plain stupid, and yet another example of companies encouraging unnecessary waste. The products still work, they just need new batteries.

Tile did fix the error in their ways as the newer Tile trackers have access panels to replace batteries in a standard way.
